The Inspirational Contributor, Ronald LaCombe, son of J.V. and Emma Lou LaCombe, is a devoted husband to Pamela, as well as a loving and devoted father, and grandfather. Upon graduating from Texas Bible College, he did the work as an Evangelist, holding revivals across the country. Then, he served as pastor of the United Pentecostal Church of Eunice, Louisiana for 39 years; faithfully guiding and serving with a shepherd’s heart full of wisdom and compassion.    After retiring from the pastorate, Ronald did not retire from his calling. He continued to carry the Gospel, preaching with a voice seasoned by years of service and ministerial experience.

Conference Speaker, Camp Meetings,  Retreats, to Mental Health Awareness Seminars; as well as missionary work overseas.   His work extends beyond the platform; he is a mentor to the young, a counselor to the broken, and a teacher to the hungry in spirit, driven with desire to reach, teach, and touch people.

What gave his ministry such depth was not merely knowledge, but his own experiences; shaped by health issues, traumas, refined by his own tears, and strengthened through his own valleys. The very pain that once threatened to break him became the foundation of his empathy. The scars he bore became testimonies of survival and grace. With every message, every word of counsel, and every quiet act of encouragement, Ronald revealed the redemptive truth that God does not waste suffering.

His journey stands as a living witness that the struggles of yesterday can be transformed into the strength of today, and that a calling, faithfully embraced, becomes not just a vocation, but a lifelong mission with eternal impact.

Now, together with Pam, he continues to use those experiences to help others turn pain into power, find healing and hope, always pointing back to God’s glory.

In this new season of life, he has contributed to his sister’s story, lending his wisdom and experience to help complete this book—a shared work born from faith, family, and a desire to see God’s purpose in touching lives of others.
